Upon graduating from the University of Virginia, where she studied Global Studies with a concentration in the Middle East and South Asia and wrote her capstone on the political costs of King Abdullah II’s neoliberal agenda, Hanna Davis went on to become a journalist in Jordan and Lebanon. Come 2025, Hanna will pursue a graduate degree in journalism at the Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies at New York University, where she also received a FLAS language scholarship, which would provide her with a full scholarship and stipend for the first year at NYU. She is excited to continue her Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies. Congratulations Hanna!
